Goddess Raythe

I had to write a descriptive paragraph (for English) about a person who "has remained...the measure of what a human can be," - Angelou. I guess...someone who means the world to me. Once you read it, you will know who it's about...it was my only choice...but whatever, i hope you like it.

Passed through the never ending clouds where the almighty God’s kingdom exists; a Goddess descends from the heavens above. She spreads her beautiful angelic wings, soaring down to earth. This same Goddess was the love of my life, stealing away my stitched-together heart and also teaching me the reason for living. Her kisses were sweet like strawberries fresh from the ground and her omnipresent smiles brightened my everyday life even during times of darkness. Her hair smelled like a garden of flowers that would never wilt away. The warmth of her body made me feel protected from any harm. Although I was half the globe away from her holy aura, I still managed to do my best to see her. Disregarding my weak and broken wings, I crawled inch by inch, mile by mile just to have her in my arms. But as I got closer and closer to reach her warmth, she would always be one step further than me. No matter what I did, no matter how hard I tried, from crawling to walking to running, I couldn’t catch up. As she flew back into the deep clouds, I could only see the direction that she went. Dashing up the stairway to heaven, I thought I would be able to catch up to her, but I was wrong. Desperately calling out her name, louder and louder with each time I said it, nothing came out, blank. Only if I had wings like she has, only if my wings would heal, I would always be with her. Even though my wings are crippled, I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, clenched my fists hard, and jumped off the stairs. Falling like a rock from thousands of miles in the sky, my wings were able to sprout out like an angel. If I end up catching up with her, dropping my knees to the floor, I would beg God to slow down time so I could spend as much time with her. But all was gone, I was unable to find her, endlessly searching of her trace every square inch of heaven, I was only left with a gift from the Goddess. Having the wings like she once had, was the only thing close to having her with me, a present that will always remain inside my heart. “I love you and one day, I promise that we will be together again,” my voice echoed across heaven. Slowly dropping tears from my eyes, I dropped from God’s kingdom, spreading my wings just like the first time I met her…the love of my life.
